Biking the vineyards of Brunello di Montalcino
The route: It’s a 31 km. (17 on dirt roads) circular loop (up to 40 km. optional for more advanced
riders) through the vineyards around Montalcino where the worldwide famous Brunello wine is
produced. Biking entirely inside the Val D’Orcia Natural Artistic and Cultural Park, (a UNESCO
World Heritage Site), we’ll also follow some evocative stretches of the ancient Via Francigena
route, taking our time to cycle through the scenic medieval hilltop village of Montalcino, enjoying
breathtaking views over the whole Val D’Orcia.
A stop at a local winery for a guided visit at its cellars and wine tasting of Brunello di Montalcino
in the famous Paradiso di Frassina, known for using classic music for growing the plants, amazing experience.

Departure from Firenze : 09:00 am (back before 8 pm)
Bike tour starting point : Buonconvento, at 1 hour and 20 minutes’ drive from Firenze.
Price : €750 per party (to be splitted among the participants) for guide and driver service, plus € 20 per person for mountain bike rent, plus € 15 per person for wine/olive oil tasting of 3 wines and appetizers.
Note: up to 3 people € 400 per party : in this case the biking guide lead the group with his own car. (Plus other services)
